- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
I often find myself using my two stainless steel Drip 'n Griddle's from SNSGrills to carry food to and from the grill. They have handles that don't get hot, but do require two hands. And the half moon shape is not always ideal. Sometimes I am lazy and just grab one or two of the aluminum sheet pans from the kitchen.
Most often I find myself using the half size aluminum disposable steam table foil pans from Sam's Club, around $10 for 36. If they are not overly messy after the food is gone, I'll rinse and wash. Otherwise into the trash they go if we are trying to avoid cleanup. I buy the lids that go with them too, but don't always need the lids, so seem to run out of pans versus lids at different times.
I have several back doors and an end and garage door, and which door I go out varies depending on which grill I am using. Two of them are next to steps, so I set the pan on the steps, open the door, then get the pan and go on in, and shut it with my foot or elbow. The most convenient door is the sliding door, as we have a cabinet there to store beach towels in for the pool, and I can set the pan on top of it briefly to open the door. Not for long though, as it is a plastic cabinet!

I have a large plastic cutting board, usually does the trick. Though sometimes doing the slider with an elbow and high stepping over dogs is a challenge, I've thankfully only ever dropped a single hot dog.

I use 1/2 sheet cookie sheets as well. Would love something as sturdy but doesn’t get as hot either. So far it’s the best I’ve come across to work with.

I have a couple of large plastic trays that I use. Each is about 2/3 the size of a cookie sheet. I'd post where we got them, however, I haven't a clue as my wife bought them, however, they work well.
