    Rhino Foil

Amazon Basics no longer seems to sell heavy duty tin foil larger than 12", so I took a shot at this brand Rhino Foil. I can't get Heavy Duty foil in wider than 10 inches locally, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Amazon.com: Rhino Aluminum Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil - 18 x 525 sf Roll, 25 Microns Thick - Commercial Grade & Extra Thick, Strong Enough for Food Service Industry (Pack of 1) : Health & Household

Not as good a value as the Amazon Basics stuff was which I believe was 30 bucks and only slightly thinner, but this stuff IS heavy duty... kicked my ass even... good stuff but be careful. (I'll buy it again, but goodness I've never got "paper cuts" from tin foil before)

Have you tried the large wide rolls from Sam’s . I use a lot of foil, one will last me for 4 months. They are Members Mark food service heavy duty aluminum foil. They are 18 inches wide and contain 500 feet of foil. There’s so much foil in one that they seem heavy. I buy them 2 at a time.

If you have a BJs near by they also carry wide heavy duty foil.

Interesting product. The listing is a bit confusing though, I don't think whoever wrote it understands the difference between square footage and linear footage.

yeah I was iffy on it until I read the reviews. Not happy about the price but it will last me 2+ years if the last huge box I had is roughly the same.

This is what I’ve been using for years now. Been happy with it. Not cheap but it works great and lasts a looong time. It’s on Amazon.

That's a hair cheaper, I'll check it out in over a year when I need a new one

it got both my hands, first time ever gettin' sliced by foil and it just decided to make it a memorable occasion for me I guess... I'll have to scratch the citrus meal I had planned in the next few days

Did you see these two on Amazon?

    No thickness listed:

This one is 80 microns thick:

HEB here in Texas has similar foil in their Texas Tough line, its called Barbecue Foil. The roll is 250 sq ft (165 feet long X 18" wide) and costs $20.75. I didn't see the thickness on the box but it is much stouter than the regular foil I use in the kitchen.

We bought some from Amazon that I love, but I couldn’t remember the brand. Turns out it’s Members Mark. Great stuff!

If you want the heaviest and widest foil on the market, this is what you want..

Expensive, yes. Close to aircraft aluminum, yes (or at least my friends say so).

I like what I got, it doesn't usually break through with a tight wrap on a rib bone... but I think I could wrap my car in that and protect it during a hail storm!

That's the foil I use. They've changed it slightly in the last 18 months or so. It used to be superthick and I would easily get cuts like those that ItsAllGoneToTheDogs got, so much so that I would wear those cotton liner gloves when pulling out a sheet.

The new "formulation" is thinner, but still quite thicker than regular aluminum foil and I rarely get cuts with it now.

I use Foil from COSTCO. It seems to last forever :-} It is 18 inches wide by 500 Ft long and is pretty tough when wraooing Ribs and other things with bones.

I wish we had a COSTCO, our Sam's has been slacking without any competition around

I use the same from Costco. I've used Sam's version as well. I think they're pretty comparable.
