Dang You Thermoworks!!!! Seriously they suckered me in with new Thermapen sale which spawned a few other purchases... Then they suckered me with the Thermopop sale which caused me to order a few other things... plus the Dot, Chef Alarm, older Thermapen, probes, infrared thermometer, etc... I had purchased last year...
Not sure I can justify another big purchase.... That being said they will now probably come out next week with a wireless to compete with Maverick and I will have to buy it too...

Sounds like me...I "HATE" them...but love the gear. LOL
And I'm hooked...two ThermaQ units plus probes, Mk4 Thermapen, IRgun, TimeStick Trio...not to mention all the stuff I've purchased as gifts or given away as I've upgraded. mmm >:-/ LOL

I agree Nate! I keep all mine in a Monoprice "Pelican" knockoff...a sticker or two would be cool. LOL
And yes, the Jelly Belly's are a nice touch. But they really do NEED a sticker or two...especially when one has just spent a car payment buying toys. ;-)

Nate, stop reading now if you want to keep your money... Still here? OK, you might want to think about the ThermaQ. I got one because I wanted a probe that could handle 2,000 F. I've ended up really liking it for a different reason, though. It reads temp down to the tenths decimal place (225.4 F for example). Because it's so dang accurate and reads so quickly I can use that info to figure out if my grill is heading up or down in temp much more quickly than I can with my Mav ET-732s. Something to think about.

David Parrish , it is on the list too (probably the meathead kit).... however I wish they would get a wireless thermometer... I know they have the Blue Therm Duo... only thing that has held me back on it is its price for being only a 2 probe unit.... can get mavs for a fraction of that... and it seems like bluetooth connection isn't quite as far as the regular wireless.
Right now I use my Dot and ChefAlarm mostly.... Mavs will get their maiden voyage this year so I can be away from the pit a little more.

I have ChefAlarms, DOTs, lots of probes, and a Thermapen. We really like their silicone hotpad/trivit to set stuff on, grab/move hot items, and they keep hot stuff from moving around on the counter/table as they "grip" really well.
