    Looking for a grilling light

I'm looking for something to use when grilling in the dark. I have a head lamp. It works OK. I have Dewault DCL050 like this:

It's pretty nice but needs something to sit on. It usually ends up closer to things than I want. I am thinking like something on a stand. Dewault makes one that is obscenely expensive and won't point down far enough. Just poking around today I found this.

It's supposed to put out 1680 lumens at 6500K light temperature. It runs off any USB power source. Anyone have this or anything like it? Looks like it could be a nice option to a head lamp or hand-held flashlight.

This may not be what you are looking for, but it works well for me at the lake house. I don’t have much light where my grills are but this attaches to the handle and floods the grill surface and I can see pretty good with it and keeps my hands free.

I have this one and like it. Works great on my Blackstone griddle.

I have a Ryobi work light on an extendable tripod stand that I use if I need more light at night out at the grills. It runs from an extension cord OR 18V battery packs. But also cost over $100. I just checked and its 2700 lumens, so the one you post is not as bright, but probably bright enough. I just set it near the grills when I need the extra light. Every summer I say I am going to add a flood light above the grills, and I never get around to it...

Might I humbly suggest going with something that is either a warmer light temperature, such as near 3000-3500K range, or one that adjusts. Washed out artificial 'daylight' light (6000K+) makes cooking harder since, unlike actual daylight, this light temp makes it hard to tell the pink/red or brown doneness nearly as well, they all tend to look the same in this high-K light. I was able to acquire a battery Ryobi LED worklight that hooks on my cooker's handle rather nicely, and it's adjustable temp and the warmer spectrum really is helpful for cooking purposes.

Potato/Potahto perhaps, but I have a BioLite 750 headlamp (now upgraded to an 850) which does a great job. It throws plenty of light and, of course, where I look it illuminates!
