Now that I’ve gotten into sourdough and I don’t see any reason to stop making such good bread anytime soon, I need a better way to store it. I currently use plastic bags, but research tells me that this is an awful idea… what do y’all use to store your home baked bread? A bread box or other method? And which one?

When I make bread, I double bag it. SWMBO seldon eats white bread, so I am the only one eating it. I slice and freeze it to keep it fresh long enough for me to finish a loaf.
I've thought about using a large chip bag too. If those bags can keep chips fresh for extended periods, they should work for bread too.
