Does anyone know if the rib hanging rack from the 30 gallon Gateway Drum Smoker will fit inside the 30 gallon Pit Barrel Cooker with the lid cover in place?

Welcome!
It's tough to say without the dims. The PBC site list outside includes the handles on the 30-gallon version. I had a PBCjr before the hurricane, so I'm not much help.
Give them a call; they are helpful folks. 502-228-1222

Lots of knives
3 Weber Performers
1 classic kettle
1 26" kettle
1 Smoky Joe
1 PBC
4 Thermoworks POPs
2 Dot and 1 Chef Alarm
2 Temp spikes
4 Slo n Sears
1 Smokenator
2 Vortex

Not sure why you would want to. The PBC, 30 gal, can handle 8 racks per PBC. I've done 6 with no issues other than taking a little longer. I'd be worried that it would interfere with the PBC lid.
Here is a load of chicken halves.

I going to say no, the Gateway has a hoop that has to sit on tabs inside the drum…
Great for even heating when cooking ribs, this stainless steel rib hanger kit includes a rib hanger with two bars and a set of 6 hooks. Compatible with 30 gallon Gateway Drum Smokers.
Unless you have some sort of tabs in the PBC (maybe you do), there’s nothing for it to sit on. Why not just use the rebar like Hawk mentions above?

I have the holes for my rebar covered with magnets to block exhaust. I have an exhaust stack installed on the top lid to help adjust the draft from the intake. I can control my temp a little better this way. My grate sits on tabs down in the PBC. My idea was to remove the grate and use the rib rack from a Gateway Smoker in its place to hang ribs. That is why I was wondering the dimensions of the Gateway hanging rib rack to see if it will sit low enough and still allow me to close the lid on the

I also use magnets when not using the rebars. When I'm using them to hang protein, I put foil around the bars to regulate the temperature. Depending on temperature I'm looking for, 1, 2, 3 or all. It took some trial and error but I pretty much got it. It's the same as adjusting the magnets.

I think the pertinent dimension is that if it’s 18.5 inches it will fit. As Troutman mentioned there are tabs in the PBC to support the hoop. But why? The rebar will hold the ribs as high as possible. Why bother with this other accessory? 🔥🔥🐿️

I'm sure Clemson1961 has a reason why he's asking or he wouldn't be asking. I wish I could answer but I only have PBC stuff in my PBC. Seems to me it would not work since the grate tabs, if they support the ring properly, would be too low and the ribs would hang lower and hit the fire. As it is using the PBC's rerods some ribs hang darn close to the coals.

clemson1961 I would suggest measuring it in the PBC then if you have to, call Gateway and ask. It works in a WSM so I'll bet it will work in your PBC.
