    New pizza Peel

I’ve. We wanting to get my logo on a peel for a few years, but just kept pushing it off as not necessary. Although still not necessary. My new one and my old one ( I have two metal peels as well).

Is metal or wood better, or is it just personal preference? I like things to be light.

Different uses, I prefer wood, but some times call for one or the other.

I love launching pizza etc from my wooden peel, sometimes the wooden peel may be a bit thick to get under something trying to take it out, where a thin metal peel will shine in those moments.

I use a wooden peel, sprinkled with rice flour for lubrication, to launch the pizza. I use a thin metal peel to retrieve the pizza from my wood burning pizza oven. They both serve their purpose well.
