Thought I'd grab the Weber app today just to check it out. While I am a big fan of their cookers I tend to find the branded accessories pricey. I avoid them. Its free but I'm still putting the app in the accessory category. I'm trying to keep an open mind but...
Well see.
Anybody using this or any other app around the grill?

Jon Solberg, I tried to log into Their App 2-3 Wks Ago! After trying several times I sent an eMail to them telling them of my frustration trying to get registered for their App and that after having one or more Weber Grills for +-45 Yrs they could KMA! To their Credit some idiot did eMail me thanking me for 40+ Yrs of being a good customer but didn't offer to register me to the App so they can KMA!
I will ask Jon Solberg to help me with any Problems or Info I might need!

hahahahahaha. That's my point about Weber accessories. Great cookers and really bad everything else. I separate the two in my mind. George Stephens fathered greatness. The rest is just a case study in branding.
I tried the Weber App some time back. I couldn't afford any more hair loss when I first downloaded the app. When I was completely bald from tearing what little hair I had left out of my head, i deleted the dadgummed thing. I won't be back. Other forums roundly curse this app. Fool me once .... LOL!
Which app are you talking about? I have had one for years. I don't use it a lot, but the one I have gives a recipe a week and profiles of Weber cookers. You can locate dealers in your area, but there is no guarantee the dealer will have what you are looking for. Is that the one you are talking about or do they have another app?
