Has anyone every used on of these salt blocks for cooking? I'm incredibly curious about them, but I can just see Meathead shaking his finger at me, telling me how I can't control the amount of salt this way, or making any of many points he made while debunking cooking on planks.
I was looking into them, and heating that up seemed to be a bit of a PITA too, so I'm less enthused than I was. Still, anyone with experience care to share?
I am looking into them for shrimp I love shrimp and would love one of those cool ways to sit with my wife after work with a bottle of wine or two and cook shrimp a few at a time with some oysters and watch the sun go down
