BBQ themed bag holder for grill trash

I commissioned my talented daughter to make a holder for plastic shopping bags to keep with my grill tools. I asked her to do some type of grill theme. Perfect gift for me.

Really nice, enjoy it. No more plastic shopping bags allowed here in Colorado. We now have to buy plastic bags to replace the plastic bags that we used to get at the stores to put our trash in.

Kathryn, she bought it at at Joann’s. It’s cotton canvas so it’s a bit sturdier than regular cotton.

After your post, I found it on the Joann's website. Not available for shipping. I'll have to see if I can get to the Joann's bricks 'n mortar store in a month or two (laid up at the moment) and see if it's still there. Do you think it's a good weight for a BBQ apron?

From my daughter: Probably a good solid one but it’ll be a bit stiffer. Should soften a bit in a few washes.

100% cotton. Cotton and cotton canvas are often on sale so cheap. Only concern is maybe needing to use a slightly stronger needle if you have problems with a regular needle.

Thank your daughter for me, RhodeHog, for the great sewing tips for using the fabric.
The Joann's Fabric site notified me that the fabric was back in stock for online ordering, so I placed my order for it (and for a lot of other sewing goodies I "needed") and should be getting it this week.
