HeatMeter - Raspberry Pi

Wondering if anyone here has purchased or built their own fan unit controller using HeatMeter and the Raspberry Pi? I have the Auber SYL-1615SYS-W which works great but would like to try out the RPi project & setup a way to store historical cook data. I am cooking with an 18" WSM right now.

robbpf I'll be interested to see any responses. I'm not aware of anyone using custom fan unit controllers here in The Pit. Doesn't mean they aren't, though.
