Suggestions for fireproof or fire-resistant and foldable/rollable mat for under grill?

I need a mat for under my grill. I'd like it to be rollable or foldable and fireproof or resistent. Suggestions for best one to buy?

I really haven't been looking for one but I believe I saw a couple on Amazon...

I've got 2 of these, one for each of my performer and gasser. I'm happy with them, and they're a pretty good size. My grills sit on a wood deck and the mats have, so far, prevented me from burning down the house.

I got two of these 2 years ago and they work great.

What a timely topic. I need a mat or a couple mats to cover an area 10’ long on my deck and I need it to be able to handle the occasional charcoal ember. A lot of the mats I see seem like they’re built just for spills and grease, and only able to handle 500 deg F.

Picked up a charbroil rolled up mat at Target during their after grill season sale. Yours may have em on clearance, maybe

Whatever you do, DO NOT go with the Cuisinart mats. They will melt in a heartbeat. I put one under my PBC with the stand on top and it didn't hold up. Thank God it was on a paver porch and not a wood deck or we would have had a disaster.

Thanks for the heads us. I’ve looked at that one and almost bought it and I’m glad I didn’t. I won’t have any drum smokers that would generate heat in close proximity but I am worried about the random embers that like to fall out of the bottom of the chimney when dumping it, particularly with lump

Andrrr the Cuisinart mats would not handle live coals at all.

Heavy Duty Fire Resistant Grill Mat, 36" x 48" (atbbq.com)

I bought mine 5+ years ago and it still is going strong. It's under my Weber MT Kettle. I will buy another when this needs to be replaced.

I think this one might be the winner. Two of them would fit my space perfectly
