Nice. However on first reading of the title I imagined a vehicle with the tag number PITMASTR. 🙂

Truly a momentous occasion, I'm sure that whatever today's date is will long be celebrated across the Republic in a manner befitting one of our great civic festivals such as National New Toothbrush Day and National Gluten-Free Cupcake Day.

National Man Buys New Crockery Day will live on long in the legends of this Nation.

Yeah, but those are your trademark. I can always tell a cook is yours before I even see your name!

The new plates will really highlight the food.

There's a big market for vintage stuff should you decide to downsize. With a little over a year to go, the missus and I have begun the first stages of declutterization.

Replacements LTD might pay you a premium for those 68 plates.

This is a great place to find ‘hard to find’ replacements for dinnerware, etc. They got their start supplying period place settings in movies. If you ever travel through Greensboro, NC, you should drop in to see the private collection this guy has. You’ll be gobsmacked.

WayneT I’m not so sure as much gobsmacked as I would say bamboozled.

I came here expecting a new lineup of paper products by Panhead John . Just saying!

The pics look great! I need some white plates like this for my food shots. All my wife has in the cabinets are two different types of clear glass plates...

Jim, if it was me, I’d go buy whatever plates you want. When you get home immediately throw out the clear plates and put your new ones in their place. If you get any backlash you simply respond with, "Woman, this is my house and I’ll do whatever I want!"

This also helps to establish the hierarchy in your household.
