I bought this chimney 10 to 12 years ago, just realized the other day how bad it looked next to my newer chimney, got me wondering how long can they go and bad can they get before you toss em??? So let’s see those ugly rough charcoal chimney starters!!! Click image for larger version

With the Performer that has gas assist I didn't use a chimney until recently.

But THAT one has seen some use!

Another "gotcha" subject title as I was expecting to see some dude with a chimney sweep brush with soot all over ala Dick Van Dyke in "Mary Poppins".

No chimney on my pellet grill, I just press start and wait 15 minutes. Then it is good to go.
No chimney on my little portable gasser.
I must be missing all the chimney fun.

I would show a photo but it is currently over at the car wash going for its monthly detailing. Nothing like that new chimney look. 🙂
