I have a rare opportunity to spend 3 weeks in Portland for work. I will be there from May 5th- 25th, and I would love to meat up with some fellow Pit members if there are any in the area.
Was just there for work. I stayed in Vancouver WA. I tried a place called The Smoking Oak. It was supposed to be Texas style. Did a combo platter with Brisket, Ribs, and Sausage. It was just ok. Way overpriced. Its hard for me to pay that kind of money for BBQ when I can turn out better stuff at home.
Sorry... just saw this. I am on the outskirts of Portland about an hour away. We try not to go into Portland as much as possible though. Hope you had a good time.
