Meat-Up Opportunity - DC Metro Area (Montgomery Co. Md.) - BBQ Competition

If anyone is in the DC Metro area or willing to drive there I am competing in the MoCo BBQ Smoke Show in Wheaton Md. on October 17th.

I believe this is going to be a festival (not sure how much BBQ focus it is other than the comp).

If anyone would like to come hangout and possibly sample some of the leftovers I would love the company. I will be there setting up and prepping Friday afternoon and evening. Saturday I will be cooking all morning with turn-ins at 12 and 12:30 and awards will likely be mid-afternoon.

Traveled to Wheaton MD over the weekend to compete in The MoCo Smoke Show. Cooked the Backyard division and finished 4th in chicken, 8th in Ribs, and 7th overall. Now to reset and get ready for Frosty Butts in two weeks.

In the Backyard Division congratulations to Better Half Barbecue on their Grand Champion win and Lil Meat Big Flavor on Reserve Grand Champion. In the Masters Division congratulations to Country Boys BBQ Competition Team on Grand Champion and Old Virginia Smoke on Reserve Grand Champion.
