Anyone else around Cleveland, OH?

Thought it might be fun to have a barbecue get together with some other folks. If it maybe turns into an amateur rib-cookoff, that'd be ok too.

Anyone else here from Cleveland, OH and interested in planning something this summer?

I lived in Columbus for three years and it seemed you could get to any place in Ohio in an hour or so from Thera. Of course, that was is the late 60’s and early 70s, and traffic is heavier today. But, I would think you could draw a one hour circle around Cleveland and draw a crowd. Somewhere in the Pit there is a location map. I hope you can make it happen. I have been a part of the Meat Ups in Texas, and they sure are fun

Pittsburgh is about 55 minutes away. On the other hand, Pittsburgh and Cleveland generally don’t mix well. Perhaps BBQ would help!

Well, CLE has basketball while PIT has hockey. Neither baseball team is much good, which just leaves the NFL. Clevelanders know the Browns are a flaming pile of garbage, so I think we could all get along for a barbecue without fighting over sports.

Columbus area here, so not a bad drive up to the lake for me, but summer’s calendar is filling up fast, fast, fast. I’ve got to get some projects going (and finished!).
