I did not take any pictures, but I can share that this was a wonderful event. As a lifelong area resident, I am very familiar with the Weber presence in the area and it was really awesome to see the inner sanctum. Everyone who presented information about the gas line, pellet line and griddle line, along with the rep who gave us an overview of the company from start to current, were a wealth of information. Then into the kitchen where we broke down into 4 stations and were guided by their head/master chef and Meathead in cooking Brats, pot stickers(cannot remember the fancy name), meatball subs and a smoked salmon spread(the team I was on). Utilizing most all the cookers they are known for from the kettle to the griddle. After a quick trip to the onsite Weber store, we headed to an awesome time of comradery at the Weber restaurant(even though known of us was hungry after the awesome food we made). Great time and I am extremely thankful to AmazingRibs and Weber for the opportunity. Looking forward to the future factory tour?!Last edited by rmeugene; January 15, 2025, 12:07 PM.

Really great event. Would not really hesitate to recommend any of the products we used or were shown.
I was on team meatball sub, and we were a pretty efficient machine, despite the shifting requirements we were under. From the sauce, to the number of meatballs, which dictated the size, to the bread… that’s no way to run a third rate meat packing concern. ;-)
but we got it all done, cooked on a kettle and whatever Weber calls their kamado, with their grill pan. I picked one up at the store, as I was inspired.
Were we really the first group in the Weber Grill Academy?

jfmorris it’s an old Roger Waters reference. Originally “anonymous Latin American meat packing concern,” from the Fletcher Memorial Home
