58limited my wife won’t be joining me on this trip. She does quilting trips that I don’t go on. I do fishing and now BBQ trips that she doesn’t care to go on. It works for me.

Panhead John I’m easily distracted these days. I just made my reservations a few minutes ago. Yes I’ll be staying at the hotel with y’all. I’m excited, it’s reminiscent of the feeling before my first date on Match.com. So much to look forward to. I’ll have to tell that story in person.

I'm a maybe. I quit my job this week, but had to give 120 days notice so magic day is May 13. I have requested these days off, but we shall see if it is approved. Not leaving quietly, if you get my drift. I have Hilton miles, Delta miles, and National/Enterprise credits enough to pay for it all, so can schedule later if it looks like might work out this time. Might need to rehearse and gear up for so much dense meat, but I think I have some game.

I have been going round and round about it. I saw one of my docs yesterday, and we talked about it. I'm still having trouble getting this situation in some kind of manageable order, I have some days that are okay, and others where I really have a hard time just getting through. Better in general, but nowhere near good (or even somewhat okay.) I decided to pass this time, meant to send a message last night. I will get there someday.

Welp, it’s not going to work for me. Grandson in NE made the freshman baseball team. We’re going to be making many trips to watch him play. That’s a week with a bunch of games, so we gotta go when we can. Sorry to miss it.

Uhh, this is Texas. We just had 90* weather last week. It’s been in the 80’s all week so far. In 5 more weeks that’s a very doable option. A month or 2 later would be May and June….aint happening, we’re old. 🥸

Got my hours cut in half today.
