I believe we agreed to give it an 8.25? Other than the pulled pork being a bit fatty I believe everyone was satisfied with what they had. Which was a selection of pulled pork, brisket burnt ends, chopped brisket, sliced brisket, ribs, beans, cornbread, fart balls - aka brussel sprouts, hush puppies, and I am sure I am missing something. We all had something to bring home.

Thanks to Thunder77 for starting this, to STEbbq for coordinating this, and to rmeugene for showing up and eating - which is all I did 😉. We had a great conversation. Yes, rmeugene and I were childhood friends in the 60’s and 70’s, but lost track of each other when our high school was split up.

Panhead John rmeugene doesn’t post very often, but back at Christmas he posted about shopping at our local grocery store, and I wondered if it was him. His avatar has a pic, but it’s been at least 47 years, so I wasn’t sure. I thought my name and initial would be enough to tip him off, but it wasn’t. Also, because my first and last name are pretty unusual my wife insists that I use "northwest suburbs" for my location instead of my hometown, which certainly didn’t help. (Continued)
