He used the insurance money and got another vehicle, it wasn’t a truck though. Not sure what it was he bought to replace the truck.

He bought a little red Caddie SUV. And it goes easily 90 mph cuz that's how fast I had to drive to keep up following him to Lockhart after our first MeatUp! It's always the guy at the back who gets the ticket, too!

In Coast Guard basic one of my company’s recruits was seen by the company commander outside without his Dixie Cup on his head. The old master chief reamed him out top to bottom, and seeing a dead sea gull lying dead nearby, decided that the sea gull had died of a heart attack on seeing this recruit not wearing his hat. That night our squad bay was woken in the middle of the night, marched to the beach, and had to give the sea gull a ceremonial burial. No one forgot their hat again.
