Panhead John I think my wife, daughter and Huskee pushed me to the SNS Kamado. My wife and daughter thought it was "prettier" than the Grilla Silverbac or Hasty Bake (the top 3 in my list). Huskee I think mentioned I might want to try something new like a kamado I think. In my mind, anything with electronics and such also would not last 20+ years like a charcoal grill, so that got me down to the SNSK and the Hasty Bake. The "pretty" factor ruled in its favor, haha. Plus efficiency, etc.
