Fireboard 2 please. Now I can stop playing around with my homemade gizmo and upgrade. And it doesn't take up space which is a consideration for me. Thank you
We use a standalone fireboard which was set aside by the fireboard integral to the YS640. Love them both, use often and the probes are long lasting with the loss of only one over a shy decade of use. You will enjoy the range while using the mobile app. Keep on Smokin’!

Thanks to HawkerXP for your message. I can't really blame Yahoo for considering it spam as there are so many fake giveaways these days.
While my health has me cooking less (not as fun to cook if you aren't interested in eating as much) new tech will help improve my excitement level. Besides, I need to make up a bunch of pastrami to empty the freezer before the annual corned beef purchase coming up in March! Now each piece can have it's own thermometer.
I love this forum and proud to be a paid sponsor. What a nice surprise to win the lottery on top of all that!
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I have a Hasty Bake that I won right here on Amazing Ribs ! Also have a pellet grill but the HB is the best for daytime BBQ. Like my Thermoworks chef alarm and heat resistant gloves.
I heard from Firebird late last week - they offered to ship for free any add ons I might want to buy. I already have their fan and 3 probes (plus two predictive thermometers) should be all I need, so I said no thanks. SO I should have my new toy/tool very soon
I am working on deciding how to cook up my next batch of pastrami using it. See questions on that thread if you have opinions.
Thank you Pitmaster Club. And thank you to all of the prize contributors!
