Love that picture of the Bassett Hound. What's the name? Our neighbor many years ago, late 70's, early 80's. His name was Stanley. Him and our Beagle, Daisy were best friends. Roamed many miles together. He would come over and plot down on our porch for hours. It was like having 2 but only had to feed one. The father neighbor passed. When Stanley was ready for the Rainbow Bridge, mom couldn't deal. I put him in the car in a bed with blanket. I took him to the vet for final rights.
