Here's an extreme idea. To encourage members to post more and join in on all the topics, any sweepstake winners need to have a minimum amount of posts, maybe 100 or 200. You keep drawing names until those numbers are met. This would get more people posting and give those that do better odds of winning. :-)

Congratulations on winning. And yes, i’ m posting because i don’t want to one day win and have zero posts!
PS: and every few days for the last year-
i do read everybody’s posts - try to support the site- use the amazon links to my barbecue gear - have 2 of meathead’s rubs coming
i don’t post because my smoking will be boring to you all- just dalmatian rubbed brisket in my humble 14 inch WSM- but i love seeing everybody else great smoke and pics.
this is a great website with really nice people - minus the sore losers of the monthly sweepstakes

Don't listen to Panhead John. He just is looking for more customers to purchase his world famous paper plates. Join the conversation anyway.

Retired, living in Western Mass. Enjoy music, cooking and my family.
Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner. A 22" Kettle with vortex SnS and OnlyFire pizza oven. A Smokey Joe and the most recent addition a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, ThermoPop and a Thermapen Mk4. Recently added 2 TempSpike wireless meat thermometers.
1st welcome from Western Massachusetts. Now your reason to not posting is not acceptable. You will not bore us. What you cook on is irrelevant. Sharing what you cook with pictures is what we want. We post so many fails as well as our successful cooks. We're a family. Please sit down at the table.
