I had to take a short road trip today, and when I went through (edit: not Milton, but) QUAKERTOWN, PA around 8AM I spotted this place:



Looks legit, doesn’t it?

I made a note to stop in on my way home… it’s legit. It’s about 30% fresh beef and 70% frozen. No butcher on premises, just meat in refrigerators and freezers. I got no room for big orders, but I’m not going to stop at a meat store and leave with nothing. Good thing I got my insulated freezer bags in the car!

So, if you’re in Eastern PA between Allentown and Philly, or close, like right over the Delaware in Jersey, this is worth the drive I think. Bring insulated bags.

Ok. Just talked with my brothers wife, brother unavailable, and she said it’s pretty top notch. It has a very good reputation in the area. So next time I venture out that way I will definitely stop in and pick up some goodies.

I looked them up. Their main focus is the raw organic honey. The business has been around a while, but the store is fairly new, it shows up on Google Maps terrain view as an empty lot. It’s at Milford Corners, but it isn’t in Milford; it’s actually in Quakertown.

The website doesn’t say much about the meat, other than it has recently been added, but there is a lot about the honey. I don’t eat a lot of honey, a squeeze bottle usually lasts me a couple years or more, even making bbq with it.
