Wild Fork Foods?

We have placed two orders from Wild Fork and have had mostly very good results as follows:

Two prime tri-tips - excellent, very flavorful
whole chicken = good, but we didn't like that it was flat from vacuum packaging (personal preference)
Berkshire pork tenderloin - excellent, very juicy and flavorful
prime picanha - great, very nice flavor, our first picanha - very beefy flavor loved it
two choice ribeyes - meh - not flavorful as we expect from ribeyes, texture was off. Will get our steaks from our butcher in future

All in all, great meat, with the exception of the ribeyes. The steaks may have been a fluke? who knows. Anyway, highly recommend Wild Fork!

The best tri tips I've ever had were WFF's. I've never tried their steaks. If you want great mail order steaks (or full loins to cut your own steaks), I recommend shop.CreekstoneFarms.com. They often run great sales.

As a birthday gift, my son treated me to a visit to the nearby WF retail location this morning. I was impressed. Very clean, well organized, and friendly staff. It sure seemed that they had a lot more options in store than on the web site, but that could be a misconception on my part..
anyway, I decided to try a few different items..
3 small tri tips. (1 prime, 1 angus choice, and 1 choice).
a package of beef short ribs, and a rack of baby backs. All for under $100
one of these will probably be on tap for the upcoming memorial cook.

Drooling at that "thick cut" short rib...! I've been very impressed with Wild Fork, pretty much unbeatable quality at their prices.
