    Porter Road Meats...

    Any one buying from Porter Road? If so, how's your experience been?

    I have my third order from Porter Road in my freezer and ready to cook. Overall I have been very, very pleased with the meat I have received from them. I have had ribeyes, tri tip,


    And lots of cooks of various things ordered from Porter Road.

        I have tried them and they have made it to my favorites list in my browser. I have really enjoyed the pork products we have received. All the meats we have received have come fresh and unfrozen, but still safely below 40 F.

            Thanks for the tip and link. Ordered a tri tip, some Denver steaks and Chuck eye steaks.

            I understand they will cut to order at the stick and brick store but not for on line orders.

            Sorry to read the strip and rib eyes are less than an inch thick. I don't do them often but when I do I like them at about an inch and a half

              The bone in ribeye I have in the freezer from them is about 1 3/8 inch thick. The boneless ones were probably right around an inch. Definitely thick enough to do a good reverse sear.
