I have had great luck with Snake River, and a recent order of grass fed beef from Alder Springs has so far been fantastic. Any other great online sources for meats when you want to go over and above what you can get at local stores?

Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Hi Edward. Have you seen this page yet? It has a few places Meathead recommends, suppliers of both raw and pre-cooked meats, plus other goodies and even the occasional free shipping coupon code & such. I've had great experiences with Flannery's steaks and Pat LaFrieda's burger. I've had great and poor experiences with Snake River Farms.

I am a huge fan of HeritageFoodsUSA.com pork. Specifically pork chops, specifically bought through the recession special... especially when the recession special goes on sale. These are the best pork chops I have ever gotten.
