Not sure where this post belongs, so I'm just gonna ask,...To Wild Fork subscribers, didn't they used to have a "notify me when available" tag on items they were temp out of? Going through their website, I don't see it anymore!
I contacted them but haven't rec'd a reply. Curious minds want to know!
Yes I believe they did. At least I think so. But I haven’t run into any out of stock items in quite a while and don’t really remember. I order often too. Sorry not a big help.
Yep, they do have that tag, I have one currently in place in fact, for their double-bone pork chops, which we love. It's been about a month since I did that, if memory serves...

Interesting. I logged in and looked at a couple of items that showed out-of-stock. No tag for being notified, only a tag for looking for "similar items".
They finally got back to me, Said to keep checking, it's a "glitch" that affected some customers. I'd like to see if the venison gets back in stock soon.
Hey, I'm at WF now, and don't see any "notify me when back in stock" buttons now either. I know for sure it was there a few weeks ago... Guess that's the glitch?
This might have no connection... I ordered from WF on Wed ?I think?. Would have been the 6th? I am a total sausage nut, still maintain one of the next few Meatups should be a SausageFest..., but anyway, I periodically order a batch. I had a free delivery, so scheduled to bring on Thursday (comes from local store, albeit all the way across town.) Got an email later in day that the delivery would be delayed, some glitch in their delivery service "Roadie", but they were rescheduling for the next day, Friday. OK with me. During the night, like 3am, I got an email from someone at WF saying they hadn't heard from me about rescheduling, so my delivery would be between 9 and 12. No prob. The delivery guy texted me around 0830, asking if I was home, and where to leave it. I had put front door on the order. He showed up about a half hour later, odd because the store is about 25-30 miles away, and wouldn't be open yet, and called me from front yard. I opened door, and he was pacing the lawn, yelling into phone. I took my bag of sausages, he waved, but then stopped and apologized for being gruff. Said there was a big problem with the delivery system, they weren't getting messages right, or getting last minute store deliveries (two WFs here, but it's a big city) and everything all mixed up. I checked, all my sausages accounted for and still pretty frozen (important part), but something was wrong with WF at that time. I don't order from them often, but some of my neighbors do (they batch group deliveries on Saturdays), and never had a whiff of a problem. So. Like I said, might be unrelated, but might have had a big ole glitch that is now straight again.
I’m curious about the membership. We have a new store about 10 minutes away. Do I HAVE to have a membership, or can I walk-in and buy something without one? It seems the only value to the membership is free delivery, but I would rather go I the store, and pick my meats; if that is possible.
They are just stores with a large selection of frozen meat (most of the items on their website). Membership only gets you free shipping. Wild fork store is only about 3 miles from me, so I've never used the shipping or delivery options.
