We’re having a cookout next month, and I haven’t done brisket in almost 3 years (!!!), so I figure maybe do a brisket (also ribs, and chicken).
I looked at Creekstone. I love their product. 16-18 lb brisket, $195. Eh. So I looked at SRF. And when I logged in, there was a $25 off coupon waiting. And a 16-18 lb Gold Grade brisket: $219. Oh yeah. $219-25+10 S&H is $204.
For the $9 I went with the SRF, but truth told the Creekstone competition grade prime is crazy good. But I haven’t ordered from SRF in a long time, and the last Gold brisket I got from them was fantastic.
This was packed and labeled in Kansas City at 8:30AM Tuesday, and arrived in NEPA at noon Thursday. The dry ice is still plentiful, and you could hammer nails with this brisket. Ordered weight was 16-18 lbs, actual weight on package says 17.6 lbs, my bathroom scale says 17.6 lbs as well.
Nice job, SRF! The rest is up to me!
