It's all Mosca fault! After seeing that beautiful Chuck roast, I found the 10% discount code. After checking out the location of the farm, I decided I'd take the 2 day shipping risk and have some beef shipped to this side of the Red River.
Due to arrive tomorrow! One brisket, 2 chucks and 2 flat iron! BEEF in the House!
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
We've had just a couple of Click cuts thus far, but it was some of the best beef we've ever had. We did one of those chuckies most recently, and OMFG... Have fun! We expect full details
Meat is beautifully marbled and likely safe. All was defrosted, but all quite chill. UPS mangled the box to the extent that the seal was broken on one chuck roast and beef fluid was all in the silver packing bag. I have that chuckle dry brining right now. I’ve bought meat online from a number of emailers, theirs was not great packaging as I compare with Creekstone or D’Artagnon. If these cook up well, I will order again.
