This place opened a couple months ago, we just haven't made it a priority to stop in. I wanted a chuck roast for this weekend so figured I'd pop in. This place opened in the spot my old favorite pork supplier was in.
The layout is nearly perfect, the center of the store has a few open freezers almost the full length of the building with a massive assortment of poultry, beef and pork. Alot of the typical cuts you won't find in a normal chain grocery. Sadly the only thing they didn't have was chuck roast. There was a butchers window so I shoulda just asked but maybe next time.
Now I will say that some of the produce was nearing the end of its shelf life, and a couple random meats probably should have been on actual clearance. But the majority of stuff looked great and the price was easy to swallow.
Like this beef tenderloin, yeah it's the skinnier tail end of one, but I can't even get this cut as Sam's or our other grocery stores. This would be 10 bucks more per lb at one of those.

And then I have no clue what this is, so like any self respecting member of the pit... I bought it. I assume it's something I can smoke as a roast, but it also might be something thin rolled up... it'll be a surprise. Hoping I only have to trim that bit of silver skin and the rest is good to go.

The chicken selection was awesome, and the prices were great but I'm kinda all birded out for the week. They also had loads of turkey cuts, raw and unsmoked which once again is VERY hard to find around here.
Then of course there were all the candies, sodas, and of course spices I grew up with in southern Cali and on the west coast.
I'll be going back for sure
