    Just Good Meats

Good Quality, Nice People, Large Selection.

I have been using them for a couple of years and intend to continue to go there.

Wow, that place brings back some memories. When our kids were younger we used to buy their box specials in order to save a couple of bucks. It was definitely good meat at a great price. Since the kids moved out we have stayed closer to home by going to Fareway in Papio. I just might have to swing in on my way home some night.

As a follow up to my response to Jwray, I have been stopping in pretty much on a weekly basis and have not been disappointed. We have consumed so many of their $6.19 10 oz. bacon wrapped fillets we have had to take a couple of weeks off so we can appreciate them again. I have yet to understand the philosophy of wrapping a cheap piece of pork around a majestic cut of beef, so I just remove the bacon before cooking and use it in the green beans...but I digress. I love the different bison cuts to go along with the ground bison as well as the veal. We have also enjoyed their sweethearts package (2 fillets, 2 lobster tails, 2 twice baked potatoes, $44.99) a couple of times and will probably snag another one in a couple of weeks. The dog and I have also enjoyed their beef jerky along with the beef sticks. I can't recall how many racks of ribs and chuck roasts we have bought this summer, but they all turned out great and starting out with a great cut of meat is just the start of turning out great home cooked barbecue. Great service from a great group of people!
