Fairway Packing Company - Eastern Market, Detroit

My work recently started to get Food Trucks in at lunch time. One of the trucks is Craft Grille. They use prime only meats from Fairway Packing Company. I've read some very interesting information on Fairway's website. Anyone use them as a normal consumer? I'm thinking of placing an order.

Yes I have. We got meat from them for hunting camp this year. Everything was legit. Had veal chops and filets that were ultra high quality. I would order from them again.

I have purchased from them in the past. Great folks. Red Coat Tavern in Royal Oak gets their Piedmontese beef from them. Red Coat makes a mean burger.

Glad and mad to see this, i went to eastern market looking for prime beef and was let down. Ill give it a look

Sorry for the nine year (!) late reply, but Fairway opened a small retail store called The Steak Shop, 20877 Mack, Grosse Pointe Woods in, I believe, 2021. We've purchased a couple of things there in the past (top quality!), but they're a bit too spendy for our budget.

Before they opened the GWP location, however, I'd picked up an online order from the Eastern Market location. We tried a few of the ground beef blends and would be hard pressed to pick one over the other--they were all quite good!
