Joseph's Finest Meats 7101 W Addison, Chicago

I've been going here for about 5 years. Small place that has prime dry aged beef along with in house made sausages. Great guys always willing to help. Getting into organically raised beef of which I just made a brisket from. It was phenomenal. Glad to share this little treasure!

I feel sadness for those outside the Chicago/Milwaukee area who've never had a chance to taste sausage.

I will second the nomination for best Chicago butcher shop to Joseph's Prime meats. We have enjoyed the prime steaks and prime brisket from this shop. The best quality and great service. Their ground beef is the best for burgers. They even sell lump charcoal! A friendly bunch of guys!

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
