Prime Tri-Tip: $8.49/#
Prime Brisket: $2.99/#
Chanterelles: $10.99/#
Pork Belly: $3.69/# (sliced into 1" strips, alas--I bought it to freeze chunks of pork fat for making chorizo and other sausages.)
#LifeProTip - Buy the tri-tips by the case and they will be cheaper and not blade tenderized. You can also probably talk them into selling you a whole belly instead of sliced. They have the whole ones at my Costco all the time for about $2.89 per pound.
The individual tri-tips I have seen have been blade tenderized. I bought a whole bag of them (5 in there I believe?) that wasn't tenderized. Had to do some trimming but it was about 20% less expensive IIRC than buying individually.
Check the label on the tri-tips and it will say if it was blade tenderized or not.
It really burns me up that they blade tenderize prime ribeye caps. Such a waste.
Here is a blog post I wrote about blade tenderizing a couple years back: http://completecarnivore.com/beware-...erized-steaks/ I know I would buy a lot more steaks from Costco if they didn't blade tenderize them.
