Prime brisket at Costco

I was at the Costco in Pearland, TX today. It is the one closest to me. Looking for a couple of briskets for the 4th.
I was told that due to it being a slow seller by Costco standards and it being in 'short supply' (the butchers words)
they were not stocking them. I checked and they have 392 on hand at the Galleria location. Going there in the
morning and getting a case. They come 7 to a case.
I would assume they are having trouble keeping up with the demand for the high end meat. With the 4th coming I think it is
not too early to grab yours be it prime or choice. Wally World always seems to have a good stock of the select and they make really good Q done with the advice available here.

Mine quit carrying them, im done with costco. I found choice whole packers for 2.29 a pound at gfs

If you look closely, you may find a few choice briskets mixed in with the select at Walmart - I know others here and I have picked up choice at WM.

At Costco today and checked on the availability of Prime Brisket which they had been carrying. Choice only now, and the butcher said if might be a few months before they stock them again. Oh well, I'm just going with smoked chuck roast for now which I happen to like very much!
