Huge Pork Butts

I stopped at Costco the other day and their pork butts are huge. I'm a little concerned about cooking one of these monsters. I'm wondering if it would be wise to cut one in half and make two separate cooks? Any ideas?

I believe Costco's are 2 boneless butts in the same package.

That's what I thought at first but after holding one up, I did not see where it separated. I know that Sam's are usually in 2 packs.

If just one, then I would cut it in half or even in quarters for more bark and faster, more even smoking. Pull pork is great to freeze.

The way they're butchered and packaged, they're hard to tell sometimes. I'm sure it'll be 2.

I’ve routinely cooked 10-11# butts on my Big Green Egg for 12-14 hours with no problem. I cook them to 200 internal temp, wrap and hold in an ice crest for 2 hours before pulling.
