New Costco Locations - WA, IL, MN and ID

If you don't have a Costco in your area you may soon. The company is continuing to expand to more areas in 2021 and 2022 with stores in Pasco, Washington; Plainfield, Illinois; Duluth, Minnesota; and Idaho Falls, Idaho (this one is maybe already open). Soon everyone can enjoy meat and toilet paper in bulk!

Not us. Our closest Costco is 2.5 hours away. No plans apparently for expanding into our area. Sam's Club is, IMO, a first runner-up in variety and quality to Costco. The "local" Sam's Club is only an hour away from us, so that's what we use.

They’ve been talking about that Duluth one for more than a decade I think. Not holding my breath

Same here. Costco has owned land in the Okanogan Valley for years, but I haven't heard any plans to break ground. So it's still two hours to Wenatchee for us.

Here are a couple more listed on Costco websitre. says a location is opening in Dallas, GA, in March 2021, and two Costco business centers are opening in Ontario and one in Alberta, also this month. The Canadian stores are billed as "Costco Business Centers", which cater to small businesses and carry almost completely different items than a regular Costco - probably more like a restaurant supply ( read - meat in bigger bulk!).

The business centers sell giant tubs of mascarpone. Awesome for cheesecake making
