Hello fellow BBQers. Ditched my old Kenmore gas grill that was converted into a charcoal grill this spring and joined the BBQ crowd. Got me a Weber 22" Master-Touch grill, lots of Kingsford charcoal and a bunch of wood chunks and chips. Been mostly grilling on it but I am ready to take it to the next level and start cooking some real BBQ. Done a few racks of ribs and have gotten pretty good results. Reverse seared T-bones one night and Ribeyes another (I do not think I will ever eat a steak out at a restaurant again!) Next step is "the butt".
So much incredible help and information here I am sure I can figure it out.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
