Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome. I stayed up way too late last night going down various rabbit holes on this forum. I need to start taking notes, or marking different threads with all of the info available. I’m going to spend some time playing with the JJ and the SnS to get a feel for temps and duration for a bit before jumping up to a larger kettle. In the meantime, I’ll watch Craig’s List to see what comes up. Lowe’s offers a military discount, and there’s a bronze 22†kettle in stock (matches the gasser), but I’m thinking having an attached table might be convenient. Something to consider. I suspect this journey may lead to a few extra pounds!!!
