    Hello from Columbia Missouri

    When I saw "The Pit" ad, I joined immediately. I found this site trolling for rib recipes, and give thanks for it regularly.
    I have been kitchen manager and lab instructor for the University of Missouri's Hospitality Management Program and sold BBQ using Meathead's recipes at catering events and at the school cafe. I hold a MS in Hospitality management from MU. Looking forward to making new friends and learning as much as possible about the science and art of BBQ and grilling!

    Phil welcome to The Pit! Thanks for taking the time to check out the welcome letter and complete your signature. If you have any pictures / stories you'd like to share of your catering experience, or general BBQ experience, I'm sure everyone would like to hear about them. You could start a catering write-up in the restaurant roundup channel, perhaps... Again, welcome!
