Howdy from NJ
Howdy all. coming to you guys from Hudson County NJ. former professional chef (stopped that 20 years ago) my wife gifted me a place at BBQ Bootcamp (NCBS Class) and I was hooked on smoking after that. I use a Weber Ranch Kettle. My favorite wood is cherry and what I'd rally like is a reccomendaton for an alternative to the BBQ Dragon. Love the product but it seems cheaply made. I'd love a sturdier product for accelerating time to get my fire at the right spot. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.Tags: None

Welcome, Howard. I use my Fireboard with Drive and fan to stoke my fire up to temp, but that's probably overkill for your purposes. That's a BIIIGGGG kettle. Good looking food too.
