    Hi from Southern California

I have thought about getting a gas grill for years (it is the next in a long string of kitchen toys, including my pets: my sous vide setup and my pressure cooker), but as an apartment dweller, it was never an option. We finally got a condo going on 4 years ago, and finally decided it was worth some balcony space. I found out about Meathead from Serious Eats, and I found this site invaluable when choosing a grill and some tools. I have just begun Meathead's book.

We just finished assembling our new Weber Genesis II S-345 yesterday. Hopefully I'm on my way to new domains of delicious food and don't burn the building down!

Welcome from south Texas! The Spirit series is a nice choice, Esp. with three burners. Enjoy!

Huntington Beach welcomes you and the awesome Weber. That’s the 3 burner rig right? My Ex got the Weber. I’ve been saying I need another but they seem to be a bad omen.

Welcome! Whereabouts are you on these gloomy days?

Yes... 3 burner Genesis II with some extra features for the Costco model (most notably steel grates and came with iGrill 3 and 3 probes).

                              I’m in Irvine.
