I'm located in the South Bay area of SoCal where finding good BBQ is challenging at best. I've been smoking/grilling/BBQ-ing for about 3 years now and am always looking to challenge myself to up my game, which is why I'm here.
My obsession for this hobby started with a vertical gas smoker that I used to smoke anything that I could get my hands on from ribs to clams to corn on the cob to cheese. From there, I got a better/larger gas grill, which then lead me to a Kamado Joe to get the more authentic BBQ taste. One of my prize grills is a Santa Maria style wood burning grill with two adjustable grates. I can't that I prefer using any one of them, but they all definitely have their place.
I'm really looking forward to learning from everyones experiences and advice and hope I can bring my cooking to the next level.
Thanks
Glenn
