I've drunk the Kool-Aid: goodbye trial membership, hello Pitcitizenship.
Even though my last smoking of the year will probably be this coming week. Unless this fine Fellowship of the Smoke Ring can help me figure out what I might get to work on my cold, windy apartment deck yet be unobtrusive enough to not distress my neighbors.Last edited by josh_karpf; September 15, 2019, 09:54 AM.

It's with deepest regret that I'm gonna have to say goodbye, after a year of membership after five years of lurking. I see my membership has auto-renewed today, but I must cancel.
I can leave the city again . . . but not long enough to get a new smoker. And I don't see how I can start grilling or smoking discreetly on our windy apartment deck. I've loved finally being part of this community, but I can't stay for the sake of the food porn (you're all porn stars!), not if I can't join in the gustatory orgy. I'll rejoin when I can smoke again.Last edited by josh_karpf; September 15, 2020, 09:44 AM.

Welcome, Josh! What part of Brooklyn are you in? I lived for 30 years in Bay Ridge and resided my daughter there. I moved to Queens in 2004 while getting divorced to be able to walk to work. Moved to the Poconos on 2009 when I left my firm and went out in own.
