                            Welcome from Centreville, VA!

I've had some good results with Costco meat here in NoVA. I've done their prime packers, chuck roasts, flank steaks, pork butt, pork belly for bacon, pork tenderloin, and Spare Ribs. Only problem I've had was with the ribs. Opened the package and the smell told me to change my plans. If you're looking to smoke pork shoulder, I'd recommend Wegmans, as I've had great results from their pork shoulder compared to the ones I got at Costco. It's based on a small sample size of two butts from Costco, but I've stuck with Wegmans since and have been very happy with them for my shoulders/butts. They are also my go-to for turkey breast.

I'm still trying to find a good local place for tri-tip. Once I get through the ones in my freezer that I ordered online, I might try the Springfield Butcher. They always seem to have Groupon's available, so it's worth a shot.
