    Hello from the Oregon Coast

hello fellow griller and smokers from Newport Oregon

just signed up to this site. I've been watching Meathead for about a year now and decided to join. i'm looking forward to learning and sharing things about outdoor cooking. I've loved doing stuff most of my 63 years. Now i'm retired and cooking outside here at the Oregon coast whenever i feel the urge. i built a modest outdoor cooking area that keeps the rain off me and my cookers. i have a Camp chief (2 burner stove, pizza oven, flat grill, bbq box), BGE (minimax), and a GMG (Daniel Boone pellet grill) so i can cook just about anything.

my modest pit here at the coast

Huntington Beach welcomes you and those beautiful cookers.

Looks great! My daughter and I used to drive up the coast to Newport and hang a right at the 20 and head to Corvallis.

Hey Welcome from central CA. Couldn't be in much nicer of a place than the OR Coast. Bride and I have vacationed up and down there and love it. Nice to see another BGE user.
