    Yes, we BBQ here....

    I'm a chef instructor at a local college. Prior to that I was an NYPD cop that got put out to pasture after getting hurt on 9/11. I'm looking to incorporate more BBQ techniques into our curriculum and this seems about as authoritative as it gets!

            Welcome! If you have enough land to park a Weber grill or Weber Smokey Mountain, you’re in business! I joined a few months ago myself to learn how to smoke low & slow. I grew up out in Suffolk County where we mostly just grilled steaks & chicken (very tasty, but few ribs & no pulled pork). Lots of great info & friendly help on this site!
